Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Cheket property maintenance coordination application, operated by Matthew Castrigno ("we", "our", "us"). By using the app you agree to these terms.

The Service

Cheket is a coordination tool that helps property owners and the people who do the work manage and track maintenance tasks and cleaning visits.

Access to a property is by invitation: a property owner decides who becomes a member, and only members can see that property's areas, access codes, notes and history. An owner may separately share a single visit by link, which shows the work to be done without granting any access to the property — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what such a link reveals.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Cheket only for its intended purpose of coordinating legitimate property maintenance activities. You may not:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Interfere with the operation of the service

SMS Notifications

Text messaging is not part of Cheket today. These terms are published in advance because they must be in place before a messaging service can be approved.

If you provide your phone number and opt in to SMS notifications, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Cheket about cleaning visit activity on your property. Message frequency varies with that activity. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help.

Your Data

You retain ownership of the data you enter into Cheket. We do not sell it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Records of completed work are permanent by design — the history of what was done is the point of the product — and are visible to the members of the property they belong to.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Cheket is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
